Do you suffer from an unruly dog in your life? Do he or she pee over your carpet and chew on your furniture? Here’s some tricks to help with your Dog Training. There are ways to teach your dog and using just some simple dog training tricks your dog can go from unruly and hard to manage pet to an obedient helpful pet.

Perhaps you have not begun training your pet because you think it is too hard. Actually, this is far from the truth. Dogs are very easily trained animals. All you really need to be is consistent and diligent in your training and soon you will have the dog you were hoping for.

The very first trick to training a dog is to use food as a positive reinforcement. Using just simple pellets of dog food can go a long way to teach your dog the basics of sit, stay, and fetch. The important part to remember here though is that this is used for positive reinforcement only. You do not want to scold or punish your dog if he or she does something wrong. Using only positive reinforcement has been proven to be the most effective way to teach a dog.

The second trick is to repeat a trick multiple times when training your dog. If you can make it out that you are playing with your dog then that would really help as well. Just devising simple games to help your dog to learn to sit and stay can go a long way to making a dog obedient. Repetition is very useful to constantly reinforce the actions you want your dog to take.

The third trick is to be regular in your training with your dog. If you train your dog every other day that is just fine as long as it is regular and predictable. This can be done on a daily basis and does not have to consume too much of your time. All you really need to do is just set aside about 15 or 20 minutes per day and in a short time your dog will be really obedient. I know many people do this while they are taking their dog for their daily walk. This is an ideal time to train your dog. What would be even better is if you have a park where you can train your dog. The outside distractions will prove to you that your dog is truly becoming more obedient.

Another item to consider is the just of clickers. A clicker is handy because of your dog’s sensitive hearing. When you associate a series of clicks to the command you wish your dog to perform then even from a distance your dog will obey you. This will become really handy if you should let your dog off the leash in the park.

Once your dog has learned the fundamentals of the basic commands of sit, stay, and fetch then you are bound to have a much more obedient dog. With these simple commands comes a level of respect that would allow you to better control your dog.

Eventually you may be able to train your dog for more advanced tricks. As your dog progresses in learning you can turn even the most mundane walk into something a bit more fun by teaching your dog a new trick.
